What is Elemental
Pet Vets ?
Elemental Pet Vets (EPV) is a TCVM-based integrative specialty center for dogs and cats. TCVM stands for Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and includes Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Tui-Na (Chinese massage therapy), Food Therapy and Exercise Therapy. In addition to these cornerstones of TCVM, EPV offers Therapeutic Laser treatment, Therapeutic Ultrasound, Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT) and Targeted Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (tPEMF). We also offer digital thermal imaging (DTI) with the most advanced medical-grade thermal imaging camera on the market. We also offer diagnostic ultrasound with a board-certified radiologist. In addition to all of these therapy options, we have and underwater treadmill and an exercise pool in our aquatic therapy center.
Elemental Pet Vets offers many services provided by your family veterinarian. We have full bloodwork capability and will be adding both digital radiography and advanced imaging soon. The way we operate is by working with your family veterinarian to maximize your pet’s well-being. Some of what we offer may also be offered by your family veterinarian, and we do our best not to duplicate services. In short, EPV offers a full array of conventional veterinary medical services in addition to what is often considered complementary or holistic.
Elemental Pet Vets (EPV) works in concert with family veterinarians to augment their patients’ health. In addition, we do offer many routine health services that may overlap with what your practice offers. We do our best to partner with local veterinarians in order to provide what the family veterinarians do not have available to their clientele.
We welcome referrals to our facility (although referral is not necessary) and will ensure that family veterinarians will always receive timely updates on any diagnostic tests or treatments performed on their patients. We welcome pet owners to call us directly for appointments, and will inform the family veterinarians associated with those pets of our findings and recommendations. For patients that come to us and do not yet have a regular family veterinarian, we will give recommendations to pet owners for area veterinarians to contact.
