Surgeries To Help Get Your Pet Back on Their Feet

Elemental Pet Vets (EPV) is now offering surgical services. To meet the most pressing needs of the pet owning and veterinary referral community in Freeville and surrounding areas EPV is focusing initially on cranial cruciate ligament injuries. Elemental Pet Vets will be providing tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO) surgery for medium-sized to larger dog breeds and tibial tuberosity advancement (TTA) for smaller dogs. Our plan is to create a canine knee center by integrating our numerous modalities of pain management and post-operative rehabilitation with surgery to ensure the most optimal outcomes for our patients.

Dr. Daniel Hoffmann is a board-certified surgeon with years of experience performing TPLO and TTA surgeries on dogs. He will be the head orthopedic surgeon at Elemental Pet Vets.

Dr. Curtis Dewey is also a board-certified surgeon and longtime resident of Ithaca, New York. He is also a world-renowned veterinary neurologist and neurosurgeon with decades of experience.

EPV is now offering neurosurgical procedures at the practice.
